In 2024 All Ontario Recycling recycled 570,000 tires… That’s 7.5 million kilograms of tires that were recycled responsibly.
Up until the end of 2018 Tires in Ontario were managed by the OTS, Ontario Tire Stewardship. All Ontario Recycling was registered with the Ontario Tire Stewardship (OTS ) as both a collector and hauler of old tires. Since the start of 2019, tire producers are asked to be individually responsible for the recycling, collecting and refurbishing of tires when they are to be discarded. Every year more than 12 million tires are sold in Ontario and creates a need to recycle old tires and keep them out of landfills. Many people simply bring their old tires into any of our public yards in Barrie and Muskoka. Auto wreckers, Tires shops, automobile garages and landfills have come to know and trust All Ontario Recycling for all their tire recycling needs.

Tires can be one of the most difficult things to dispose of due to their nature of being rubber and having steel wire built in for strength. Any business who sells tires is responsible to accept tires from the public in Ontario. Waste resource recovery centers and landfills take tires in from the public, but to prevent them from ending up in landfills, tires need to be transferred to a authorized tire recycling center. That’s where All Ontario Recycling comes in. As a registered collector and hauler of old tires AOR responds to the industries needs of tire removal and haulage. Free tire drop off is available at any All Ontario Recycling public yards. If you are a collector and require free tire pick up, please contact us for pick up of tires in Ontario.
